TBS6981 Diseqc switching problem

I use DVBViewer 4.6.0.1 icw recording service 1.6.9 Beta.

I have TBS6981 dvb card, driver 2.0.0.14.

Running Win7.

I have diseqc 1.0 with 2 LNB's: 0 = astra 23.5, 1 = 19.2

While scanning I can find all channels, for both LNB's.

When I want to watch the channels I have switching problems between LNB 0 and LNB 1.

(I have the same issues with WinXP, even on older versions of DVBViewer/Rec service, and similar issues with another dvb card/technisat HD)

When using transedit I can see that I've the wrong channels for the LNB (which means the diseqc did not switch).

What I find strange is that scanning works, it finds the correct channels for the LNB's, while transedit and channel switching doesn't work.

I also experimented with Linux (yavdr) and there I don't have any channel switching issues.

Used diseqc.conf in linux:

S23.5E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F0] W15 A W15 t

S23.5E 99999 V 10600 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F1] W15 A W15 T

S23.5E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F2] W15 A W15 t

S23.5E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F3] W15 A W15 T

S19.2E 11700 V 9750 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F4] W15 B W15 t

S19.2E 99999 V 10600 t v W15 [E0 10 38 F5] W15 B W15 T

S19.2E 11700 H 9750 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F6] W15 B W15 t

S19.2E 99999 H 10600 t V W15 [E0 10 38 F7] W15 B W15 T

How can I further debug what is wrong and why the diseqc is not switching ?

In transedit I select for astra 23.5 = PosA/OptA (LNB 0), and for astra 19.2 = PosA/OptB (LNB 1). Then I select a transponder from astra 23.5 and do an analyze, I get incorrect channels, I get the channels from the astra 19.2. When I select a transponder from astra 19.2, I will get the correct channels from the transponder.

I've noticed that I could get it to work when first selecting an astra 19.2 transponder and quickly after it selecting an astra23.5 transponder I get the correct channels. When analyze again the astra23.5 transponder often fails. It works again after going back to astra19.2 and then to astra23.5.

I have problems of selecting channels from astra23.5 (first LNB), channels from astra19.2 (second LNB) is not a problem.

I've played with the extended diseqc settings, various combinations (incl delays), no result.

I don't want to do anything special with the diseqc.conf settings (from previous post), I wanted to show you that with these settings in vdr I could switch to lnb 0 and lnb1 and vice versa.

..hmm, why do you select A/B? In transedit it is shown as the 3rd position. B/A makes more sense to me and will correspond to your diseqc.conf settings ;)

It seems other people have the same issues with diseqc.

My setup:

diseqc 2.0

Lnb0: duo : astra 23.5

Lnb1: quad: astra 19.2

I could have electrical problems since my cable is 40m.

But since I don't have channel switching issues on Linux .... Are they doing something 'special/different' which solves diseqc-switching issues?

When analyzing with transedit I see following strange issues:

If I analyze a transponder on astra23.5 (freq = 12129), I get wrong channels, it looks like they are form astra19.2, when switching to astra19.2 transponder (freq = 10744) and then switch back to astra23.5 (12129) I get correct channels. Closing the analyze screen and analyze again gives me again wrong channels, the channels from astra19.2 !

Sometimes I notice that also switching to astra 19.2 transponder gives no channels during analyze.

I tried with retune after x sec, stop streaming while tuning, using extended diseqc (sending twice diseqc command, with/without delay) ...

I'm desperate !

What else can I do ?
