Faulting application name: vthumbs.exe, version: 1.2.4.0, time stamp: 0x2a425e19

Faulting module name: ad2h264dec.004, version: 1.4.0.21597, time stamp: 0x4731f456

Exception code: 0xc0000005

Works fine here, with same Windows / DVBViewer / Recording Service versions. Did you start the vthumbs.exe once directly from explorer (better by right click - run as administrator) to configure the codecs for SD and HD? I set it to the same codecs and settings I use in DVBViewer and have no Problems.

I have never run or used the program manually, I assumed it was called by the DVBViewer program itself.

OK I see what you mean, it was trying to use a codec that it obviously couldn't. thanks
