upnp/dlna support for external .srt file?

Hi There

 

Does the recording service upnp/DLNA server support sending subtitle files(.srt) to clients?

 

I'm using a Samsung UE46C6005 as DLNA client and subtitles works fine with the Samsung PC Share Manager.

I have tried to modify the upnpprofiles.xml adding .srt with mime-type="text/plain" but it does not work.

 

So is it possible to make it work modifying upnpprofiles.xml? or is external subtitle files not supported? If so any other tip except re encode the movies with burned in subtitle?
