RS and Streaming

Recommended Posts

Hey people,

I have some problems with my RS, actually I have had it since RS changed from using VLC 0.86 to the newest version.

I simple can't get it to stream via 3335 (or with transcoding enabled), it works perfect with direct connection.

My setup is

Pentium e5400

6GB ram

Zotac GF9300 mATX

Freshly installed Windows 7 sp 1 (danish language if that matters anything)

Turned off my firewall

2x Terratec cinergy c pci

1x Terratec h5

Newest VLC 1.1.9

RS 1.7.2

DVBViewer pro 4.8.0.0

I must be doing something wrong, but I simple have run out of ideas what is wrong.

Help me plz :)

It seems you do not select video and audio transcoding settings. In this case you should use direct streaming.

It seems it can not create listen to the output port:

[00a0ae90] main access out: creating httpd

21.04.11 19:58:20.647 VLC [00a0ae90] main access out error: socket bind error (No error)

21.04.11 19:58:20.647 VLC [00a0ae90] main access out error: cannot create socket(s) for HTTP host

Maybe your AV program or another program does interfere?

Hey Lars,

Actually its a fresh install of windows, no antivirus and no firewall.

The only thing I installed are the zotac motherboard drivers, RS, DVBViewer and VLC.

Nothing else, but atleast this gives me a hint to what is wrong, so I have to work on it.

Thx

Best Regards

Lars Bartel
