Only one recording at a time?

Hi people. It seems that I can only record one program at a time AND it seems as if I have to be on the same channel. Colliding recordings set in the EPG, doesn't create an error - but it simply doesn't record show nr. 2... and when I try to change away from my current recording it says "No hardware available". Anything I can do about this?
