ml 05019
I've purchased a DVB-T2 tuner to watch HD in Britain, and this was the first thing I noticed: the BBC One HD channel changes its audio stream from AAC 5.1 to AAC mono during program gaps, and DVBViewer doesn't seem to handle it properly. If this occurs on live TV, the sound is no longer played after stream change; if this moment is recorded and then played back, DVBViewer would stop playing the file altogether in the moment of stream change. Please see the sample recording (cropped with TSPlayer to reduce size) Both problems can be fixed by selecting "Rebuild graph" command, but it's not a solution if, for example, recording is going on. Hope this can be fixed better. Quote Link to comment
Griga
Most likely not a DVBViewer, but a decoder issue. Your sample contains two AAC audio tracks. One with a AAC 5.1 -> stereo change, and the other one mono throughout, so it isn't suitable for reproducing the issue the BBC One HD channel changes its audio stream from AAC 5.1 to AAC mono during program gaps, and DVBViewer doesn't seem to handle it properly. described above. The first track plays here without problems (including the 5.1 -> stereo change), the mono stream seems to be silent. You may want to try a different AAC decoder. The only one that is installed in your system is (according to your support.zip): -------------------------AAC Audio Decoders: ------------------------- Microsoft DTV-DVD Audio Decoder V6.1.7140.0: 005FFFFF There are alternatives: The libfaad2 wrapper that is available in the DVBViewer members area / plugins section (read the included ReadMe!), or the DivX AAC Decoder that is part of this codec pack (take care to untick all options for toolbars etc. on installation). Please read more about AAC 5.1 decoding in this thread: http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/43682-blackgold-bgt3620-dvb-t2/page__view__findpost__p__322904 Quote Link to comment
