Commodore Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 High Folks, support.zip ich benutze den DVBViewer 4.8.1 und habe bis vor kurzem eine Nvidia 8800GT(G92) 512MB in meinem System benutzt. Funktioniert alles Wunderbar. Habe jetzt eine AMD 6950 von Sapphire 2048 MB und benutze den Catalyst 11.6, funktioniert auch alles Wunderbar. Jetzt zu meiner Feststellung, mit der NV Karte hatten sich die Temps nur minimal verändert. Mit der AMD Karte sieht es folgender maßen aus. IDLE 38°, und wenn DVBViewer in Benutzung 56°! Lüfter auf der Graka funktioniert, ist nicht das Problem, und arbeitet sehr ruhig. Im Taskmanager ist die CPU Auslastung für DVBViewer < 2%! Jetzt auch schon meine Direkte frage an alle Mitglieder. Ist das eine reine Graka-Treiber Sache oder kennt jemand hier den Temperatur unterschied auch, und weiss eine Lösung? Mein restliches System: Für ausreichend Lüftung ist ebenfalls gesorgt, 3x120mm Lüfter, vorne rein und hinten raus, und auf der CPU sitzt Scythe Mine 2 mit 120mm Lüfter. Netzteil ist im Tower unten eingebaut und saugt Frische Luft von Unten an, und bläst es hinten wieder raus, ohne das innere im Tower zu belasten! Während der Wiedergabe verwendet die HD6950 die Shadereinheiten (und das sind ja einige) fürs Processing. Habe DVBViewer nicht mehr zum starten bekommen, erst nach dem ich 11.6 win7_64_xcode deinstalliert habe. Danach stellte sich DVBViewer wieder auf default ein. Warum die codecs von AMD nicht wollen weiss ich nicht? Mit den von Win7_64 läuft es Problemlos. Quote Link to comment
hkrumb Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 mein Rechner ist ein SB i5 2500K mit AMD R6870 Win764bit (SP1) 11,6 Catalist Treiber bei HDTV(mit PDVD) taktet meine R6870Hawk GPU300MHz /Speicher 1050MHz bei 0,95V -GPU Temp nach 15 min ca 50°C /130W Gesamtverbrauch bei SD TV (ATI MPEG Decoder) taktet meine Grafikkarte 100MHz/150MHz bei 0,95V -GPU Temperatur ca 40°C/90 Watt Gesamtverbrauch ... scheint mit den MS Videodekoder normal zu sein Quote Link to comment

proXi Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Hello i have the same Problems with Windows Home Server 2011 and my Gigabyte Board (785G-Chipset) and Radeon HD4200 onboard Graphics. On Windows 7 x64...there is everything ok, but now with my WHS 2011 i have massive Artifacts. Hat das schon einer mal zum laufen bekommen? WHS 2011 + DVBViewer?? Wäre euch echt sehr dankbar!! When it comes to you then is so good, here as I said, who never went anyway I use PowerDVD9 and 11 to decode h264, always worked fine. why do you use ATI decoder when so many better ones are available? Romsky Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) I did talk about AMD/ATI "typical" Problems (and there are non of these). Ive never said you should use the ATI MPEG Decoder. Just use PowerDVD Decoder or the Microsoft DTV Decoder. But its better to use the PowerDVD Decoder instead of the Microsoft DTV Decoder, because the DTV Decoder does make artefacts with "Das erste HD / ZDF HD". My oppinion is (now after i tested the newest NV Solutions) AMD Graphicscards are much better for Multimedia/TV. (Not perfekt, but much better than the NV Cards) At the moment the AMD 6570/6670 gives you the best possible Result on PC. (202 Point with HQV 2.0). But not even near as good as the results from a Dreambox HD500/800/8000. On these boxes DeInterlacing/Upscaling is nearly perfect. No aliasing, no temp. interlacingeffects etc. I hope in neaer future we will get almost identical results with our HTPC and DVBViewer. Edited July 25, 2011 by Romsky Quote Link to comment

Romsky Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Meine Aussage ist in keinster Weise "unüberlegt". Ich habe meine Erfahrungen gemacht, mit inzwischen einen ganzen Konvolut an NV und AMD Karten. Die AMD Karten schneiden entschieden besser ab. Und es gab in diesen Thread Aussagen das ATI/AMD dran schuld wär da AMD noch nie gut lief. Diese Aussage war nicht bezogen auf den AMD Decoder sondern allgemein auf ATI. Und diese Aussagen war absoluter Bullshit. Quote Link to comment
