fxv1
I am puzzled by a few things. Q1: Setting DXVA using the drop down box (options--Directx), applying and doing a Graph rebuild will invoke DXVA (you can see from picture ( http://www.manikata.com/tecchie/multimedia/DVBViewer/pictures/dxva2.jpg ) that HD 5770 is at 20% utilisation ) When I view via "DVBViewer-->view-->filters--->PowerDVD11" it shows PowerDVD DXVA not invoked. Q2: http://www.manikata.com/tecchie/multimedia/DVBViewer/pictures/dxva2.jpg shows artefacts. This is using EVR Custom Video Decoder (use custom renderer ticked). This settings produces a very good picture which can be stable for periods of about 10 to 15 seconds at a time then when picture changes to a different major scene...artefacts. The only stable renderer I have found is the VMR9 but that gives a poor picture (but stable). Q3: DVB-S v DVB-S2. If my hardware can cope with DVB-S at 10 to 15MB/S (ITV HD) should it cope with DVB-S2 or do I need something different My HW is AZUREWAVE TWINHAN DVB-S2 card. My GPU is ATI HD5770 1G DDR5 specs can be viewed here: http://www.viewtech.tv/satellite-receivers/pc-cards/azurewave-ad-sp400/ I have tried many codecs (including mainconcept "demo" mode) but is this a codec issue or a renderer problem. I have w7 64bit (two installations, different disks) one with DVBV4.8.0 and one with DVBV4.8.1 same results on both. I have posted my support file a few days ago and can upload again if need be. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=28637 I have w7 64bit (two installations, different disks) one with 4.8.0 and one with 4.8.1 same results on both. Some guidance from any of the technicians on this site would be appreciated...Is this something which DVBViewer is meant to cope with? Thanks for reading my post. Comments and suggestion welcome.
