RAI4 (Italy), is grabbed correctly and if i check the EPG using DVBViewer everything is right, but in Recording Service that EPG's Channel is empty. Any Idea ? DVBViewer is setted to import EPG via DVB Recording Service. Link to comment

If EPG in RS has an empty channel the one you see in DVBViewer client is an old EPG not updated yet from RS. Are you sure this empty channel exist in the xmltv grabber output file? Please doublecheck it. Also to see if EPG update works (all settings is made correct) from RS to DVBV you can delete the EPG.dat in DVBV config folder (CMUV-->DVBViewer), not the EPG.dat in CMUV-->DVBViewer-->config folder though (that's the one for RS). ADD: When checking the xmltv output file it is not enough the channel missing from RS EPG are listed in the beginning of file...you have to check if any shows got scrubbed for this channel further down in the output file. If you have show scrubbings for RAI4 and this channel is still missing from RS EPG then it's time to check the XEPG channel pairings...it's quite easy making misstakes here. Last step is to get RS to DVBViewer update to work and for that you have the settings and update button on DVBV-->Options-->Recording Service tab. majstang Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 Assessing from your postings it seem you got the XEPG parings for RAI4 correct. Then you have to focus on your grabber and the output it produces. As it seem to be now, you only have the provider EPG for RAI4...which means XMLTV does not grab anything for RAI4. When checking the xmltv output file it is not enough if the channel missing from RS EPG are listed in the beginning of file...you have to check if any shows got scrubbed for this channel further down in the output file. majstang Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 (edited) Hmm..this is a hard one for sure! If you have other channels working when importing the .xml in to RS EPG then you must have the connection settings in XEPG-->Options-->Recording Service tab correct. Maybe if you inactivate the XEPG-->Options-->General-->Delete old EPG prior to import, things could go better. This option have been causing trouble before, but not for single channels as far as i know. Also, there could be a good idea asking about this issue in the XEPG thread if you don't find any solution. ADD: When things like this happens for me i usually Unpair all channels in XEPG and saves it and close XEPG. Restart and redo the channel pairings again and applies it. Important to have the latest .xml file already done with the latest channellist. If doing any changes in the XMLTV grabber channellist the old pairings in XEPG can fail. Avoid deleting it manually if you can. RS will give you trouble when doing that. You can always try using WebGrab++ instead (this software automatically runs in hidden mode if executed from an RS task), but it is more likely this issue is settings related in either RS or XEPG.
