Selecting a program to record from the Programs tab right-hand instant recording icons works fine. Select the program from the list and then select record the new timer window is sent behind. Also leaves the web page when you select save although its an empty pane?

Select Programs Overview page...................................programs overview page is displayed

From the channel list in the left pane select a channel.........center pane of page updates to show vertically scrollable listing

Select any listing entry in the center pane.....................detailed popup of listing is displayed with option for

................................................................reruns, play, record or imdb

select the record icon..........................................new timer popup is created but gets instantly set to background

................................................................as programs overview page is refreshed over it.

select cancel...................................................popup pane is refreshed as an empty pane and left active.

well this doesn't sound like you are using the right svcweb folder or maybe you need to do a complete refresh of the page in the browser to flush the old files from the cache.

The timer window is also shown as a overlay, like the EPG inforamtion, so it can't be send to the background.

The problem was with the contents of svcweb. I did an install over and not an un-install followed by an install. Looks like if you over-install it does not use the correct contents of svcweb. Is this an installer issue? Should it not remove this directory contents first?
