streamserver problem after upgrade to 1.9.0.3

Recommended Posts

Hello,

After upgrading to version 1.9.0.3 the http streamserver (the one which listens on port 7522 by default) started doing weird things.

I am unable to stream any channels in the following ways, which were working until the upgrade:

- opening the stream as url (for example http://address:7522/upnp/channelstream/16.ts)

- starting a stream from the iPhone (odd, as ffmpeg is converting this ^ url to the iphone)

- even streaming a channel via VLC from the webui

Methods I tried: new data folder from scratch, uninstall/reinstall of the service, I tried to tweak the service settings for hours but no progress.

After a day without web-streamed TV, I ended up with uninstalling the new version, and I installed back 1.7.0.1 (the one which was working without any problems). http streaming works like a charm again.

I tried to get some help with from the service debug logfile, but only found an option for uPnP debugging, which unfortunately it did not make any debug for the streamserver requests. When I installed back the 1.7 version the debug logfile was removed but I included a copy from a data folder backup. I'd be grateful to help to solve the issue, but I have no idea where to start after installing the new beta again.

Any help would be appreciated, the new version has some cool new features I'd be happy to use.

Daniel

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the HTTP connection to port 7522 gets established, the streamserver replies 200 OK for a GET request of /upnp/channelstream/84.ts, then after some seconds, the connection is closed at 0 bytes. Simultaneously the "signal" led on my tuner (which is should be on when a stream is tuned) blinks for a second, and that's all. All firewalling is off on the PC with the dvb tuner.

HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK

Length: unspecified [video/mpeg]

Saving to: “84.ts.5”

0 --.-K/s in 13s

(edited) I upgraded again, checked thru the settings, tried the http stream, and again... doesn't work. Connection gets closed by the http server at 0 bytes.

I attached the relevant part of the svcdebug.log

Thanks!

Daniel
