New to DVB Viewer- BBC stream issues

Recommended Posts

Just updated to DVBViewer pro and started using it. Very happy with the product so far.

Ran into an issue with BBC Streams - 11954v 27500 fec 2/3

These channels are sticking in DVBViewer.

Original streams at 12422v also sticking. I know bbc are migrating from 12422v to 11954v, so may be their issue.

Tried :-

-uninstalling and installing

- rescanning with transedit

-changing video codec

Anybody got any ideas to help.

Thanks

Picture freezes and I have to exit progrsmme. Upon opening again , picture freezes again.

Just noticed that whe I use the preview function in transedit the streams open and play fine in the preview window.!!

Seems to be a playback issue. Please have a look at the DVBViewer Filter property page. What do you see there after the picture has frozen? Errors? Discontinuities? Still something going on? Attach a screenshot if appropriate.

P.S. Ticking Options -> DirectX -> DVBViewer Filter -> TV/Radio Pre-Format Detection -> Video in DVBViewer may help, because that is something the TransEdit Preview does without being configured for it.
