Barleyman
I have a problem that recordings fail after HTPC recovers from suspend. The symtoms are either empty ts files or files with tiny amounts of data. Chopped into 60second segments of course. Poking around svcdebug.log, I found this: 24.10.11 21:39:02.102 Resume PBT_APMRESUMESUSPEND 24.10.11 21:39:02.102 Resume Processing... 24.10.11 21:39:02.102 ReleaseStandbyblock PBT_APMRESUMESUSPEND 24.10.11 21:39:02.102 SetThreadExecutionState 0x80000000 24.10.11 21:39:02.102 fwakeup -1 24.10.11 21:39:22.435 TKNC1BDA C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBViewer\KNCBDACTRL.dll 24.10.11 21:39:22.435 TKNC1BDA loadlib error 24.10.11 21:39:23.782 Opendevice bvKNC 24.10.11 21:39:23.783 TRecording Allocate KNC BDA DVB-C (1) 24.10.11 21:39:23.783 StartRecording KNC BDA DVB-C (1) This condition can be fixed by restarting recording service. So it might be a problem with that cntrl file. On the other hand I get that error in the logfile even when the recording is OK. I'm running W7 x64 and have 1x KNC one card and 2x TT C-1501 cards. Sometimes I can repeat the problem just by putting htpc to sleep and waking it up, followed by a recording. Sometimes it just works to annoy me. I have many failed recordings, thought. support.zip Edited October 24, 2011 by Barleyman Link to comment
Tjod
try "Reset after Standby" http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Options_Service_-_Hardware#Reset_after_Standby Link to comment
Barleyman
Already enabled for all 3 cards, naturally. I created a task that runs after resume to restart recording service. It should fix the issue althought it's not very elegant.. Edited October 24, 2011 by Barleyman Link to comment
