mague
Works only for non-transcoded videos. And not with DVB or teletext subtitles. You 'll need a UPnP client and a Videoplayer supporting subtitles. Check out UPnPlay on the market. As player i use VPlayer, but there are most probably others with subtitle support. moviefuns
Try Daroon Player. It works on my optimus 2X, including subtitles and soundtracks. Link to comment
bogdan1980
i have daroon, but vplayer is the best on android. On android, with daroon, for any other upnp software or dlna, frame rate is awfull on live-tv. On iphone, it's just work:P Link to comment
bogdan1980
Now in 2012, on an Galaxy S2 i use: bubbleupnp pro + mxplayer pro, or diceplayer( with libffmpeg.so on SD card for DTS sound), or vplayer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&hl=en imediashare + mxplayer pro, or diceplayer, or vplayer http://www.imediashare.tv/ I love this imediashare, its awsome. All of these has dvb subtitles on all channels. If i use iphone webpage with Flowplayer, subtitles do not appear. If i use bubbleupnp or imediashare, i could watch HD channels, but framerate are low, Galaxy S2 hasnt enough power. But in my country RO all HD channels has SD equivalent. HD channels work ok with Flowplayer. Edited September 15, 2012 by bogdan1980 Link to comment
