lbhholm Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 When using RS to record HD movies or other HD TV with Teletext subtitles, I include the Teletext subtitles. and when playing the recording using DVBViewer the subtitles are visable, but they have to be selected in the options field. but when streaming to TV or Media player, Teletext subtitles can't be selected. Has anybody knowledge on how to enable Subtitles in the recording? Link to comment
Derrick Posted November 20, 2011 Share Posted November 20, 2011 ..probably your mediaplayer can't handle ttx or dvb_subs in a transport stream. A solution could be to extract the subtitles and convert them into a file format (e.g. *.srt) that can be read by the mediaplayer. The name (e.g. film.srt) hasto be identical with your ts file (film.ts). Link to comment
lbhholm Posted November 29, 2011 Author Share Posted November 29, 2011 Right, player (Samsung TV DLNA client doesn't support teletext subtitles in stream) but the fix would be most efficient as an option in RS to demux the TXT subtitles into a seperat file. Is that doable? Link to comment
