majstang
Sounds that you have copied DVBViewer config files from the XP config folder into the Win7 config folder. If so do not, you really have to start from scratch when changing OS. You can fix it by deleting all config files. Close DVBViewer and delete the config files then restart DVBViewer and go through the configuration wizard. Quote Link to comment
hvnoort
Thanks for the swift reply. I deinstalled DVBViewer completely and reinstalled it, with NO LUCK. Which config files are meant by "all config files" and where can I find them? Quote Link to comment
majstang
Which config files are meant by "all config files" and where can I find them? Ok, it is obvious my theory wasnt accurate. You may actually have a bug there. Quote Link to comment
ml 05019
You're asking what the "Config files" are? Once you get through the wizard and to DVBViewer's main window, you can open the confing folder from the Help menu. BTW, I had the same issue when installing DVBViewer on Windows 8 after Win7 Quote Link to comment
QBox User
The systeminfo.txt file shows that the installation folder is "D:\Applications\DVBViewer". Win7's default is C:\Program Files\DVBViewer (or "...Files (x86)\,,," for 64-bit) and the config folder is normally "C:\ProgramData\CMUV\DVBViewer". Your usermode.ini shows the root as "CMUV\DVBViewer". Supporttool was unable to find your setup.xml file, so presumably DVBViewer Pro is in the same position. According to the Wiki, in default UserMode(=2), the program would then copy a default setup from the installation folder. Perhaps your config folder (or the program) lacks edit permissions for writing the file. Can you run it as Administrator? Quote Link to comment
