need advice updating from 4.2 to current version

Most of the time I'm only using the timer for recording and I'm afraid updating takes much time or cause problems though a cannot remember much problems in the past.

 

A issue with 4.2 is lack of native High DPI support, by default which I'm using DPI Virtualization is used causing the complete user interface being blurry.

 

Another problem I have is minimizing the timer or EPG window hides it without a chance to show it again.

 

Were these issues fixed meanwhile?

I can only recommend that you upgrade to the latest version. As ususal make a backup of your old installation, but DVBViewer has definitely lots of new stuff since 4.2.

I've updated now without much problems so far, I was disappointed however High DPI is still not supported.
