I´m trying to get the recording service to work but I can´t find out how I can get EPG-data from tvguide.xml (the file where Xepg store the epg-data) into recording service.

You have to import it via Xepg.

I´m trying to get the recording service to work but I can´t find out how I can get EPG-data from tvguide.xml (the file where Xepg store the epg-data) into recording service.

You create a RS task-rightclick RS systray icon-Configure-Tasks and fill in:

Filename: C:\Program\Xepg\Xepg.exe

Parameters: -xGrabThenImport

WorkDir: Empty

 

When executing the task from RS (either as a timer or manually) Xepg fires up your grabber and then imports the tvguide.xml into RS epg.dat. Then check RS timeline to see the new EPG.
