Haruhiko Yamagata
Hi, If I try to play this file, DVBViewer has black screen. Sometimes one or two frames are shown. Audio plays with noise. Because I'm a developer of ffdshow, I've tried to debug it. Video frames have timestamps around 00:49:05.136 while audio frames have timestamps around 00:00:02.819. AV sync is impossible and the playback fails. support.zip Quote Link to comment
Derrick
..don't waste your time on a broken stream Quote Link to comment
Griga
AV sync is impossible and the playback fails. The original DVB PTS are already way out of sync. You can see it in DVBViewer on View -> Filters -> DVB Source -> klick PTS -> DVB. The DVBViewer (Source) Filter translates the DVB PTS to DirectShow timestamps, but doesn't correct such differences. Playback fails here with VLC and Haali as well.. Quote Link to comment
Haruhiko Yamagata
hmm... You seem to be correct. I thought MPC-HC played the file, but there was no audio... Quote Link to comment
Derrick
Audio plays with noise. ..it's the audio that contains noise. If you demux audio and play it with any player, the noise is still there. Maybe the video encoding is also questionable. The stream info says frame mode: "progressive" Quote Link to comment
Haruhiko Yamagata
Thanks for many and quick replies. I expected the stream was correct because ASTRA seemed to be a professional company. Actually I was wrong. Quote Link to comment
Derrick
..don't expect too much from a very old test loop Quote Link to comment
