jhrdlicka Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Latest DVBViewer and RS do not have the same codepage format in EPG infofile. Saving EPG from DVBViewer is utf-8, from RS is unicode. My Notepad have problem show correct language(latest RS). Older RS did not have with codepage in EPG info problem . Can I change codepage for epg infofile in RS? An idea? Jose Link to comment

Jose For the record, UTF-8 is unicode. Both DVBViewer and RS should produce info files encoded in UTF-8 without BOM. It's important to not change this file encoding to either UTF-8 or ANSI, cuz if doing that it could cause havoc if used for rebuilding the RS recordings database.
