No Hardware Available!

I've been using DVBViewer for years now, but always with a satellite tuner card. I've recently moved and now need to use it with a DVB-T signal.

I have a Hauppauge WinTV DVB-T card installed in my HP desktop, but when I go to carry out a channel scan, it always says "No Hardware Available!". I've searched online and on this forum and can't find anything which has helped.

Anyone got any good ideas?

Sorry, this sort of stuff just isn't obvious to me.

I've done that and it's still saying I'm using version 4.8.1.0, or looks like it is to me. But when I look at the "about" section via help, it shows I am using version 4.9.6.11!

Do you have more the one then one DVBViewer installations on your system?

Are you running the supporttool.exe in C:\Program Files\DVBViewer\ ?

If yes remove all DVBViewer related files from C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

There was also DVBViewer TE (or something like that) which I've removed, and yes, the support tool is running from the correct folder. I've also removed the files you mentioned in the virtual store folder.

Here's a new support file.

Pleas start the DVBViewer via start menu > programs > DVBViewer > Support > DVBViewer Pro (Debug Mode) and then try a Terrestrial channel scan.

If it doesn't work post a new support.zip maybe the debug.log gives more informations.

Thanks, but I tried tuning with Windows Media Centre and it seems my weak signal combined with a mediocre tuner doesn't work very well. I'm having a multiswitch put in my attic so I can have a satellite feed fed down the cable and then I can use DVBViewer in conjunction with my satellite dish, which I know works just fine.
