JW01 Posted May 9, 2012 Share Posted May 9, 2012 Since RecordingService and Task Scheduler both seem to have the function of waking the system up to do a recording, can someone please summarise the differences and clarify when I would use one rather than the other? mague Posted May 9, 2012 Share Posted May 9, 2012 If you want just wake up the pC for recording then Task Scheduler is it. If you want network streaming to mutliple PC, UPnP/DNLA, a webinterface then use Recording Service. Quote Link to comment
