barrygreybeard
I have 2 Samsung TVs, a 46C750 and a 46D8000 with RC 1.10 running on my PC. On both the Samsung TVs I can select the Recording Service DNLA server. On the Series D I can select Live TV and it works perfectly over my wireless network. However on the C750 I cannot select Live TV, only Recorded TV, Video, Music or Photos. No Live TV option. Is this a limitation of the C series Samsung TVs that will not accept streamed Live TV? If so is there a workaround? thanks Barry Link to comment
lbhholm
I have just updated to RS 1.10, and now my C series is not working any more. when selecting video, the system show up "no files". while my D series will display recording etc. XBMC work perfectly to. What changes was made to Samsung profile in 1.10? Regards Lars Link to comment
Cornfed
My Samsung PS50C550 has exactly the same problem with RS 1.10. Other DLNA server function properly. Link to comment
mrr19121970
See here http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/49776-DVBViewer-recording-service-1970-samsung-ue55es8090/ DVBViewer is not DLNA, it's UPNP. Clearly some Samsung models don't speak UPNP. You can overcome this by trying D**Link Connect! Server (which is not as good as DVBViewer, but is DLNA) Link to comment
lbhholm
The purpose was not to find a new server, already have a Twonky media server running on the network with perfect functionality on both TV's. but the C series worked on privious versions of RS, so something must have changed on the samsung profile used on the C series. any comments from the development on the changes? looks like the uPnPProfileV2.xml file has a new Samsung entry Regards Lars Link to comment
