fdrebin
Hi! I´ll be send to our office in Sao Paulo/Brazil to setup a recording server. But now I found some problems and before I leave I´ll get sure that everythings will work out right. I hope that some of you could help me in this project. My requirements: - Recordings of this Channels Band Rede Globo Rede Record Rede TV SBT etc... My questions: - What would be the best way of reception with DVBViewer? ISDB-T, satellite (which one?) or cabel (provider should be http://www.netcombo.com.br) - Do I need a subscrition and a Smartcard for ISDB-T/Sat/Cable? - Is this a current list of available channels via ISDB-T? http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Lista_de_canais_da_televis%C3%A3o_digital_brasileira#S.C3.A3o_Paulo - Which TV cards could you recommend for the diffrent ways of reception and where can I buy them in Brazil? I found this cards for ISDB-T but no shop which is selling this cards. http://global.kworld-global.com/main/prod_in.aspx?mnuid=1248&modid=6&fcid=2&pcid=199&ifid=173&prodid=594 http://www.geniatech.com/pa/X8507.asp Has anyone some experiences with this cards and DVBViewer? By the way I found a lot of USB-sticks but I would prefer PCI/PCIe cards. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
rbcarnevale
I think I can help you! Do you speak portuguese? If you do, just watch this topic. There is a lot of information about my experience: http://www.htforum.com/vb/showthread.php/92080-Clube-do-DVBViewer-HTPC Answering yours questions: 1- the best way to watch and record these channels is using a isdb-tb card, because we don't have all channels in dvb-s2 availables. 2- this list is correct: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Lista_de_canais_da_televis%C3%A3o_digital_brasileira#S.C3.A3o_Paulo 3- you don't need any subscription to watch isdb channels. But you can afford a subscription of cable provider and have these and others channels. 4 - the best card I tested was http://www.geniatech.com/pa/X8507.asp. It has a better reception.
