Channel list gets lost

I am using Transedt 3.5.4.0 to scan channels and save them to the channel list. I use DVBViewer 4.2.1.0 to view the channels. This works fine for a short time the then for some unknown reason the channel list is lost and reset to the default channel list that was there after installing 4.2.1.0. I am forced to use 4.2.1.0 because the latest version on DVBViewer crashes. Is there anyway to keep the channel list from being lost?
