RS 1.9.7 -> RS 1.20 Hand up

Hi all,

Yesterday I've upgraded Recording Service from 1.9.7 to 1.20. Unfortunately after few channel change, dvb server not responding. I needed to kill it from process list and execute again. Problem is always reproduce after 2-3 channels change. When I'm back to 1.9.7 then problem dissapear.

Hi, I have got similar problem. After few channel changes RS hangs off and what is weird i can not kill the process, so I have to restart computer.

That's a sign for driver problems. which TBS is very prone of (at least in combination with their CI dll)...

After small investigation, it seems that problem occur using encrypted channel.

 

All works without problem when using only FTA. Because [removed]

 

I'm using Win7x64, 8GB Ram, C2Q9400, TechniSat SkyStar HD2, - DVBViewer 4.9.6.20

Do not ask for or discuss plugins for descrambling/decrypting pay-tv or key-codes.

Although the DVBViewer Pro provides full pay-tv functionality it must only be used in combination with a valid subscription of a pay-tv provider, a tv-card/box featuring a "conditional access module" (CAM)and/or the corresponding "common interface" (CI) with a smart-card. This applies regardless whether software-descrambling is allowed in your country or not.
