hsv
I have the following setup Motherboard Supermicro X9SCM It has on-board two nics 82574L 192.168.11.152 82579LM 192.168.11.164 When I configure DVBServer to use 192.168.11.164 I cannot connect to it. On the server when I connect to 127.0.0.1 I can see under "Device Status" that the server are lising to 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.11.152. And when I configure it to use 192.168.11.152 it shows 127.0.0.1 and 192.168.11.164 I use the same ip number all over in the configuration but when I setup DVBViewer I cannot use the same IP number everywhere. But it will not connect with the right ip number in the recordingservice. When I have tried to setup DVBViewer with both IP numbers Now I can see the channel list but when I try to see a channel it says that the hardware is not available. If I connect to WEB interface :8089 I can connect to it and from here I can open a channel and see TV and setup recording. Quote Link to comment

Tjod
I think he is talking about the DVBServer in the RS The old DVBServer has no web interface. Quote Link to comment
hsv
Hi Tjod You are right:-) I have followed this WIKI http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Options_Service_-_DVBServer But because of the lack of control of the networks cards I cannot get it to work in the clients. I am looking forward to a fix for this. Because at the moment I can only use the web interface. Have you reproduced the problem? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Have you tried Automatic? The RS should use than all network devices. Quote Link to comment
hsv
Hi Tjod I got it working by using telnet and the port number to tjek what works or not. So I have selected the right ip-numbers. But still it is a bug. Also I found out that I have to setup the hardware units on the clilent to the same as hardware on the server. Regards Henning Quote Link to comment
