damjang
I write this to show 2 little bugs I found in the last version of DVBV: 1) the first is that when i go to fullscreen in rare case (but it is anoying) the application bar don't hide (I have set the application bar to show always). I have winXPsp1. 2) the second bug is that DVBViewer when closed don't free (or turn off) the DiSeqC signal. This is not good because in this way the SS2 is not completely turn off and if there is another receiver on the same cable don't work correctly because SS2 drive the DiSeqC. To help understand this status I use two utilities from Christian: b2status.exe that give the SS2 status and FreeLNB.exe that turn off the SS2. Here is the logs (look for Diseqc lines): When the pc is turned on without SS2 is in use: D:\sw035>b2status -a eth1 **************** Tuner capabilities: ******************** Tuner type : Satellite Transponder frequency range : 950000 kHz - 15000000 kHz Tuner frequency range : 940000 kHz - 2200000 kHz Symbol rate range : 1000 kS/s - 45000 kS/s Auto Symbol Rate : SUPPORTED BER : SUPPORTED SNR : SUPPORTED Signal Strength : NOT SUPPORTED Signal Quality : SUPPORTED Total Block Count : NOT SUPPORTED Corrected Block Count : NOT SUPPORTED Uncorrected Block Count : SUPPORTED ************* Current Tuner information: **************** Status In Lock : NO Signal Strength : n/s Signal Quality : 0 % SNR : 1.292000 BER : 0.000000 Total Blocks : n/s Corrected Blocks : n/s Uncorrected Blocks : 0 Settings Frequency : 0 MHz Symbol Rate : 0 kS/s FEC : AUTO Polarity : VERTICAL Modulation : n/s Diseqc : NONE LNB Frequ. : 0 MHz LNB Select. : 0 kHz Guard Interv. : n/s **************** IP statistics: *********************** IP Streams : 0 open, 0 running IP PIDs : Max 33, Current 0 Unicast MAC Address : 00:D0:D7:05:CE:2D Multicast MAC Filters: Currently 1 of 32 maximum set: 1 : 01:00:5E:00:00:01 Total received : 0 bytes in 0 IP packets. **************** TS statistics: *********************** TS Streams : 1 open, 0 running. Gioxy
For the 1st point I have the same, but everytime (maybe because I prefer Overlay)... I belive is someway related to the way the Render is called (or some paremeters is passed to it)... and IMHO they are two very different visualization modes, because they also have different zoom and centering settings, separately modificable via NVidia driver option's (I have no monitor attached to PC, only TV-out...) The only way I found to make the appbar disappear is to click two time on "full screen" on the remote: using mouse and menus for the same operation is useless, and "provocate" the reappearing of the appbar when I change channel next... I hope this info are of same utility... Cheers Gioxy Edited October 20, 2004 by Gioxy Quote Link to comment
