I have Xepg and XMLTV GUI software, they can download EPG data correctly, but I don't know how to have them work at the background to import EPG data to recording service automatically. Is it possible to have EPG data import into recording service and DVBViewer at background when windows start without any operation? Quote Link to comment

If you do not want to rely on external EPG data but want to use the EPG data actually sent by the TV stations and if you want to minimize the time needed to get this EPG data you could use EPG Update Script from http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/41624-weiterentwicklung-epg-update-script/.
