ic_attila Posted November 4, 2012 Share Posted November 4, 2012 Hello World! I've bought a TechniCrypt CX Conax CA module. I used it in a VANTAGE HD 8000TS Twin PVR nearly two years with a Hungarian Hello HD/Olcso TV Conax subscriber card with no problem at all. When I insert this module, with the same card in it to my SkyStar USB 2 HD CI REV 2.0 receiver and switch to a Hello HD encrypted channel I get an error message, that I’m not entitled to view that channel. I also use a TechniCrypt CW CryptoWorks module with a UPC Direct card in it with no problem at all. I use DVBViewer PRO 4.9.6.20 for viewing sat TV on my notebook. If the cryptoworks module is inserted and I open the CAM interface from the View->Show CAM option the CAM interface comes up. I can navigate through the CA options. But when I insert the conax module the Show CAM option in the view menu is greyed out. What could be the solution so that I can watch conax encrypted channels on my notebook?
