entrecour
Hi, I have two computers on the same LAN that each run their own RS (RS1 and RS2). Is it possible to have DVBViewer on Server 1 and normally connected to RS1 issue a WOL command to RS2 on server 2? As far as I can see the RS section of the DVBViewer options screen assumes that DVBViewer is connected to just one RS, but in the hardware section I can set up multiple devices connected to different RS's on different servers. I'd like to be able to wake-up the 2nd RS ideally from within the OSD of DVBViewer to access media on server 2. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Use the OSD-Menu Editor (Mebers Section) to add a entry for that. You need a WOL tool eg. WOL for DVBViewer (Mebers Section). Quote Link to comment

entrecour
Tjod, What's the best way to do this do you think? Should I simply edit the test script in the WOL directory and use that in a new OSD-Menu item entry? I am not at all familiar with VbScript so any suggestions for improvements would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
I think the easiest way is to edit the Script (set you MAC). If the script works you should remove msgbox("MagicPacket send!") to remove the message box. Quote Link to comment
