Teleskorpion
I am trying to see the OnScreen Information of DVBViewer on my TV-Set. If i am using Overlay, there is no chance to get them. VMR7 or VMR9 i will get OSD, but it is always half visible. In another mode there is the EPG info for typical 4 seconds, but no picture for this time. Maybe i am not able to find it in the forum, but i can not believe that no one else have the problem ?!? My intesion is to build a HTPC without any Monitor etc., so the OnScreen Informations are an essential thing. I know that the Overlay Mode uses the memory of the Graphic Card , but maybe there is any trick or something to get in on the way .... Maybe my Computer Hardware is the thing: Shuttle AN35-Ultra Mainboard, Asus V9520Magic GraphicCard (5200 Nvidia), 1700+ AMD, 256MB DDR, SkyStar2 2.6C Tested with at least every driver, Technisat and orginal B2C2 etc. Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
what do you mean with half visible? Which mode of your graphicscard do you use? have you tested what happens when you use only the tv-set and no monitor? lars Quote Link to comment
Teleskorpion
Hello folks, yes somethimes it´s a hard business to watch tv on computers, but sometimes a brain goes silly ways though the answer is next to you. The word i was looking for is transparency (half visible, haha...), but the solution to use and see overlay with every OSD etc. is to switch the TV-Out to primary Monitor. So, thanks for help...
