Bjur Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 I'm loosing my mind on this one. I have tried LAV filters where the picture doesn't freeze but audio is way out of sync. Have tried the internal filters and picture freeze. My CPU shows 40% on my zacate system on 720p HD video, and that is on small window mode. I can't figure out what's causing it. Hope someone can help. Have not installed other filters and I can play 1080p videos in XBMC without a problem. Quote Link to comment

hubertore Posted February 13, 2013 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Ok, fine, just googled Zacate, because I didn't know it... until now :-) So it's AMD and it should support DXVA too. Please check if LAV Video Decoder is really used while playback. Select DXVA2(native) if possible in codec settings window if possible. Now LAV should use HW acceleration. You said audio is out of sync, so which audio decoder do u use? I suggest to use AC3 Filter. It has been reported that AC3 Filter snycs well with LAV Video. Quote Link to comment
