timetrex Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 I have had DVBViewer working for a few years now both in dvb-c and dvb-s. Just today it is not picking a signal up on 28.2e for any fta.. I have attached a support zip file if you guys would kindly have a look at. The pc itself is fine, it has been working ok both in xbmc with recording service and in DVBViewer. Both HD and SD channels both play fine... I have checked the cable by using a sat box which picks up channels ok...I cant really think of anything else, perhaps a windows update, DVBViewer picks the dvb-s card up tevii s464 pci card. Not used a great deal, so unless the card is somehow broke? I done a simple reinstall but perhaps I should do a full uninstall and the reinstall? suggestions pls? I do have a pending ati update for graphics card which is blue screening but im sure thats not related... thanks support.zip Quote Link to comment
timetrex Posted February 17, 2013 Author Share Posted February 17, 2013 Just an update, I have read there are issues with certain tevii cards and IRQ usage... anyhow I tired reinstalling DVBViewer, I also updated bios and chipsets, still no joy. I edit reg edit because IRQ for card is shared, windows 7 shows no conflicts thought. I changed priority of IRQ.. Still no joy.... left the pc off over night, switched on this morning and it's working, so I have no clue.... thanks Seamus Quote Link to comment
