Windows XP crash with DVBViewer Pro 5.0 and SkyStar 2 eXpress HD

I bought a license for DVBViewer Pro because the v4.9.5 Changelog said:

  • Added: DiSEqC 1.2 support for TechniSat SkyStar eXpress HD with WDM/Network driver.
  • Enhanced: DiSEqC 1.2 support for TechniSat SkyStar eXpress HD and SkyStar USB HD with BDA driver. Now it also works under Windows XP.

After installing the tuner’s drivers (BDA + WDM) and DVBViewer Pro 5.0, the DiSEqC 1.2 (TransEdit / Positioner) app works properly. But soon after starting DVBViewer (it can be a few seconds or a few minutes) first DVBViewer, then the whole system locks up. About half a minute after that the computer reboots and Windows reports a serious problem.

This happens with both BDA and WDM drivers. I get the same error using DVBViewer TE or TransEdit Preview. The crash also occurs when the tuner has a high input signal.

Note: DVBViewer works fine with my DVB-T tuner (AirStar TeleStick 2).

Can anyone help?
