Reza Sadeghi
this is DVBViewer 5.1.0.0 (working correctly) Windows 7 SP1 x64 DirectX 11 -------------------------------------------- by click on " Options -> DirectX " this Error message appear again by again. also on "DVD Options" and "Picture in Picture" sections. now Render Decoder for MPEG2 is Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder. for H.264 video decoder is same as MPEG2 decoder & VC1 video decoder is ffdshow video decoder. Video Renderer is VMR9 Custom video renderer. for "DVD option" and "Picture in Picture" is the same. but would you please tell us why that Error message "Please install the current DirectX 9 updates to take full advantage of the custom randerers" is showing? DirectX 11 is newer than DirectX 9. so why DVBViewer doesn't recognize it still? i'm not familiar with this subject mentioned above. (meanwhile i searched the forum and found just one topic related this issue, but unfortunately that was wrriten in Deutch language we don't know deutch but english) any help welcomed. hackbart
Because you need the d3dx9 library to use shaders. Quote Link to comment

Thank You so much dear "hackbart" I installed "Directx 9 June 2010 redistribute package" from Microsoft here. then the subject mentioned solved. DVBViewer is working fine now & shaders in "view" menu is working too. several pictures effects such as "black and white" or "Old TV" was nice. I Love you DVBViewer to watch DVB-S & DVB-S2 Satellite TV on Laptop via 802.11n Wireless network using DVBViewer streaming feature. totally it is wonderful. but just some suggestion for "Channel Editor" is in this topic titled: "Please "Channel List Editor" sorting by "Sat + Frequency" please add feature requested in next version of the application.
