Recording and EPG descriptions displayed incorrectly in DVBViewer sinc

Hi,

 

Since 1.26 RS seems to have changed the way it records EPG descriptions for EPG entries and for recordings.

 

Since the upgrade, DVBViewer no longer displays the programme description in the OSD for either EPG entries or recordings.

 

Is this what you refer to as being resolved in an upcoming DVBViewer release?

 

I've attached a couple of screenshots as an example. Pre 126 shows how recordings info was displayed for recordings made in earlier versions of RS and post 126 shows how they are now.

 

Both show the technical info [4:3] and so on - you can see that starting and falling off the bottom of the window in pre 126 but in post 126 the description is completely missed out and it just shows the technical bit.

 

I've also attached a screenshot from within the RS interface to show that the programme description for the same programme as in post 126 is actually stored somewhere, just not displayed in the DVBViewer OSD.

 

Will this be fixed?

The death of Lars leaves RS without a developer.

I wonder what happened.

Are you going to take over the development of RS? If Hackbart will carry all projects on his shoulders it wont be only "a bit" but a lot slower.
