LuPoX Posted October 26, 2013 Share Posted October 26, 2013 Hi, im trying to do streaming to a friend, i configure the Recording service with the same options like here http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide If i use dvbdream on other computer on my lan, i can see all chanels using the "Rec. Service Wizzard" and i can join to web trought my internal lan ip (192.168.1.3:8089) but when i try to do with my Inet ip dont work. Can someone help me please Link to comment
QBox User Posted October 26, 2013 Share Posted October 26, 2013 You will need to configure your router to pass traffic on 8089 to 129.168.1.3. The PC firewall may also need a rule to allow communication to this port from outside the LAN. How much bandwidth do you have on the RS site uplink - enough to stream direct? If not, you may need to use the web interface to stream at a lower rate. Link to comment
