Can't watch encrypted channels from clients

Hello

I have a very strange problem

My RS server has Win 8

Client 1 has Win 8.1

Client 2 has Win 7

Client 1 (and another client with Win 8.1) can't tune to DVB-S2 channels that are encrypted. I get the message "No hardware available". I use SmartWii to share subscription Card to 3 tuners in the RS server.

Client 2 has no problem tuning the channels

I use DVBViewer on clients

I have atached suport.zip for all 3 configurations

support client Win 7.zip

support client Win 8.1.zip

support server.zip

You did not tick "DVB-S2" on the Unicast Devices on your Windows 8.1 client. So the DVBViewer does not know that the server hardware can do DVB-S2. So also unencrypted DVB-S2 channels should give the same message.

There is one DVB-S2 device on the W8.1 client

1

1

1

DVB-S 2

1

1

..but the overall hardware allocation seems to be very messy ;)

Moses: You was right, thank you.

I missed it, because the DVB-S2 check box has been moved. In previous versions it was together with the other check boxes, but now it is moved from left to right top corner

well, maybe it's done on purpose but some devices are controlled by the RS on the server PC and some are directly controlled.

Can you watch FTA on the W8.1 client? If you tune to a scrambled service does the source filter show at least the PCR?
