brbe
Hi, I am quite new using DVBViewer Pro and Recording Service. My hardware is a Hauppauge 930C. I think I have been reading all the reading documentation, but still I have these two questions: 1) I have scheduled Recording Service to start recording a show every Monday at 8.30 am. Last Sunday I left the computer turned on all night long with DVBViewer running another channel, and because of that, the 8.30 show was NOT recorded…. Is there a way to setup the programs so that Recording Service can “take over” the Hauppauge tuner from DVBViewer when it is time to record a scheduled show? 2) When Recording Service has started recording a show, I cannot open DVBViewer in order to preview the show that is being recorded. Would it be possible to watch a show, that Recording Service already has started to record? Thank you Brbe Link to comment
Tjod
It seams the DVBViewer is not configured to work with the RS. http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Recording_Service_Installation_Guide#Setting_up_DVBViewer Link to comment
brbe
Thank you for the answer! When I run the Rec.Service Wizard, everything seems to be ok testing the connection etc., but after going through these 3 windows, DVBViewer freezes and this message shows up two times: Access violation at address 00000000. Write of address 00000000. Link to comment
