robena
Hi,I'm running DVBViewer 5.2.9 on Windows 7, to record from US FiOS cable using HDHOMERUN tuners. The mobo is a Gigabyte P41T-D3. I don't know the graphic card model. It works well most of the time, but randomly, I get almost zero sized files (15 MB for a one hour HDTV recording, not usable at all). There is no apparent error in the log file I set up to be created along the recording. Here is an example of a CBS recording that failed: CBS 1/30/2014 G:\Caps\Elementary S2-E14.ts Device: Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 101073B5-1 (2) 9:56:00 PM / 12:00:00 AM (~ 0.0 MB) Start 11:04:00 PM / 1:08:00 AM (~ 14.6 MB) Stop Average Data Rate: 0.004 MB/s Total Size: 14.6 MB (15341740 Bytes) Removed Filler Data: 0.0 MB (0.0%)I actually enabled the channel in the DVBViewer during the recording, and the display looked correct. A bit choppy because it runs on a system that I access remotely using RDP, but it looked as usual in fact. All my five usual channels (CBS, FOX, CW, ABC, NBC) on different tuners were fine. There are 4 HDHOMERUNs tuners in fact, and the problem is not tied to one in particular. They are set up to "Other ATSC/QAM".Yesterday, all the 4 programmed recordings failed the same way, but sometimes it's just one while the others are fine.Any idea to troubleshot this problem? Thanks. support.zip Quote Link to comment

robena
Well, going back to version 4.0.0 solved the problem, so it's a bug in more recent versions. Quote Link to comment
