why cant i record 2 encrypted channels on same transponder?

why is this an issue? it says no hardware available when im switching to another channel on the same transponder, i just wanted to record 2 at the time.

Hi,

 

Obviously, you are using CAM.. Unless the tuner driver allows decrypting multichanels, this action is usualy not possible..Even with CAM mentioned DUAL. This kind of CAM can decrypt 2 chanels at the same time in compatible STB only..

 

I don't now by the way whether some Digital Devices multituners can do it???

..It's not the driver but the application that doesn't allow multi_channel_decryption.
