Recordings information displayed via skin

Hi,

I am using DVBV 5.2.9.0 & Recording Service 1.28.0.0. on Windows 8.1 32bit. I grab my EPG using EPG Centre, and import into DVBViewer using Xepg. This is all working very well; I have a channel list that is fully populated with program times, titles and descriptions. My recordings work as expected.

If I click on the 'Recordings' tab in the Recording Service browser, I see both the title and description from the EPG for each recording. However, if I bring up my 'Recordings' from within DVBV, using the Concinnity 3D skin, then click the green 'Info' button for a specific recording, I only see the recorded program's title; there is no program description. This information is clearly listed in Recording Service, but is not displaying in DVBV via the OSD.

I expect that the missing program description from the OSD is entirely an OSD skin issue. I made a post over in the OSD Skin section two weeks back, but have had no response, so am posting here in the hope of getting some advice.

What I want to know is which file(s) I need to edit, and how to edit them, to make the program descriptions display via the OSD Recordings Green Button. I can upload whatever OSD skin files here if someone can tell me which ones to select.

Many thanks,

Tim

I did something similar for another skin a couple of years ago but can't remember the details. You need to download the OSDskinner application from the members area and use that to edit the appropriate file - might be MyMiniEPG.xml

If you also download the DVBVSpy application, that will give you the name of the object you need to add.
