stefabona
Hi everybody, my skystar hd2 is dead and i need to replace it. I don't have particular needs: single tuner, low profile and no problems when resuming from standby or hibernation. My skystar was always a problem when waking up my htpc, and many times i received the message "no hardware available" so needed to reboot almost every time.I don't need ci module ...According to your experience, the best card for the right (and possibly low hehehe) price? DunnoX
Hi own a skystar usb hd but I wouldn't recommend it, people seem to like tbs cards generally (pci-e ones) they have online ordering. If you're looking for a really cheap one until you find one you like I suggest geniatech -> http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/GENIATECH-Mygica-HDStar-DVB-S2-TV-Box/616485_699117215.html . Look here -> http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-S2_PCIe_Cards and read the notes on each card so you have an idea of witch-one you should buy. Quote Link to comment
