hareth Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Dear dev's and all,I'm a blind user off DVBViewer pro since virsion 3.** and i'd like to say its the only viewer accessible to use via most of our screenreaders, like jaws for windows. The new problim that happend with the new 5.2 virsion is simply it lost most of it accessibility most importantly the channel list and the options not readed by the screen reader properly any moreI'm not a tech expirt to tell what's going on with it but i've changed the skin many times with no progrisso pleas fix it or we blind users will be left with 5.1* as the last usable virsionGreat thanks in advance... hackbart Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Are you sure? To be honest we did not changed anything in the code and i'm still aware that the virtualtreeview problem is still there, since we did not updated or downgraded the current virtualtreeview version. Which screen reader do you use? Is it Jaws? Quote
hareth Posted May 11, 2014 Author Posted May 11, 2014 Hello, after your reply, i checked what the change i made so it was jaws i've upgrade it right before i installed the latest virsion of the DVBViewerfrom jaws14 to jaws 15 and when i used the jaws 14 it was the same problimlthe channel list feedback as a single line continued as a one sentenceand we cannot select a channel as easy as the 5.10, and older versions, also the options not accessible as abovethe versions above 5.10 is not giving the proper channel list or the options list and the (tab) button wasn't working as it should in the optionswich forced me to downgrade to the 5.10,and i've tested it with jaws-15 64 bit was working finebut not the case with nvda screenreader and the past jaws versionsand you know that the most of the blinds using older jaws and nvda.so pleas giv it a review to see what is going onand what triggerd this probmany thanks in advance.. Tjod Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 There is maybe a solution, but Christian needs someone for testinghttp://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/55645-zugaenglichkeit-von-DVBViewer-52-fur-bildschirmleseprogramme/?p=418124 Quote
hareth Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 I'll be more than happy to test, with jaws 16 and nvda screenreaders. Quote
