Recording Service Setup Wizard doesn't show my Server

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a DVBViewer Recording Service running on a PC in my LAN. I want to connect another PC with DVBViewer Pro as a client but the Recording Service Setup Wizard doesn't show my other PC.

I have disabled all firewall and antivirus programs but it still doesn't show up.

When I check in the options on the DVBViewer Client I can enter the IP address of the Server and test the connection.

It's really weird...

When I do "netstat -an" on the server I see the server running on port 554. When I open a DVBViewer client on the server itself I can configure it with the wizard.

Still the service remains invisible for other pc's in my network. I don't have any software running on the server.

I did a scan with nmap to my server and port 554 is open:

I tried adding the RSTP device manually by entering the IP addres in the corresponding field but the serverlist below stays empty...
