bccrew
Hello, I have a DVBViewer Recording Service running on a PC in my LAN. I want to connect another PC with DVBViewer Pro as a client but the Recording Service Setup Wizard doesn't show my other PC. I have disabled all firewall and antivirus programs but it still doesn't show up. When I check in the options on the DVBViewer Client I can enter the IP address of the Server and test the connection. Tjod
The server discovery works via Multicast so there is a problem in you network. But you can add rtsp devices manually in the DVBViewer and change the IP via settings for this device http://en.DVBViewer.tv/wiki/Options_Hardware The tuner type shroud be set to the type of you card. bccrew
It's really weird... When I do "netstat -an" on the server I see the server running on port 554. When I open a DVBViewer client on the server itself I can configure it with the wizard. Still the service remains invisible for other pc's in my network. I don't have any software running on the server. I did a scan with nmap to my server and port 554 is open: Initiating ARP Ping Scan at 23:45 Scanning 192.168.1.9 [1 port] Completed ARP Ping Scan at 23:45, 0.05s elapsed (1 total hosts) Initiating Parallel DNS resolution of 1 host. at 23:45 Completed Parallel DNS resolution of 1 host. at 23:45, 0.02s elapsed Initiating SYN Stealth Scan at 23:45 Scanning 192.168.1.9 [1000 ports] Discovered open port 445/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 3389/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 135/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 139/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 554/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 8089/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 5357/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49157/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49152/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49154/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49153/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49156/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 8090/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49167/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Discovered open port 49155/tcp on 192.168.1.9 Completed SYN Stealth Scan at 23:45, 0.72s elapsed (1000 total ports) I tried adding the RSTP device manually by entering the IP addres in the corresponding field but the serverlist below stays empty...
