Connected internet TV in UK

Hi,

I like snooker. Sometimes the match I'm watching goes off and is not on the red button.

At that time they say it's available on 'Connected TV' which I think is watching internet TV through your TV.

Is this what the hbb tv plugin does? If so, does it work in the UK with BBC stuff?

Thanks!

OK I tried out iPlayer in the hbbtv plugin and it didn't work very well. Has anyone ever tested this? Are you aware of the issues? I'm happy to test extensively and send support.zip etc but I need to know it would be useful to you, and that I'm not reporting stuff that you don't already know.

Basics seemed to be that only left and right work on the keyboard - up and down didn't work so I couldn't really navigate unless I moved a mouse.

Using a mouse wasn't ideal as if I clicked twice in quick succession anywhere - like when scrolling down - DVBViewer interpreted that as switch from full screen to windowed

iPlayer streams started but only played in the little window, going full screen just stopped video

iPlayer doesn't have the live sport - I think you need the BBC Sport App for that - I suspect that's another iPlayer-like application, but not the iPlayer, if you get my meaning. Also referred to as the 'Connected red button'.

This would be extremely nice to have so am happy to extensively test, if you just let me know you're interested in helping.
