Does DVBViewer take up much CPU or memory ?

I have always had DVBViewer with Video Off placed in my system tray and do recordings that way using the Timer Record and EPG. Should I use the Recording Service service/software or is it fine to do things the way I do without losing much in CPU or memory ? I have a 1090T AMD with 16gb ram and Windows 7. I am just concerned whether this is slowing things down or if it is very minimal when video is turned off.
