Scan Problems with Cable star Combo HD CI

Dear all,

 

I have a Cable star Combo HD CI, and I cant get it to scan. The field remain grey-inactive, also after I have filled in a root file. Doesn't it work without a smart card module?

 

Know that I am basic, but hope you will advice me anyways

Use TransEdit (from members area) to scan. It's much easier. I have never figured out the DVBViewer Pro scan,
